The Covenant: Times

 

We are pleased to announce our first Newsletter, to bring all of our first members together. We will bring out some information, for a review, of the last few month's.
Beginning, back in December The Covenant Guild, was created by, DarkDemon. Shortly after meeting up with Kae, on Myswtor, she had become a good friend of mine, and I asked her to join, and later to become my Moderator for the Guild. We had started to get quite a few active member's and beginning our way to the Release of Star Wars the Old Republic.

The Covenant

Our Guild name "The Covenant" comes from the secret organization, in the Star Wars the Old Repubic Comic's.""The Jedi Covenant was a secret organization of Jedi headquartered on Corusant in the time of the Old Sith Wars. It was established after the end of the Great Sith War by Krynda Drayy, who felt that it was her failing for not sensing the fall of Exar Kun to the dark side. The Covenant's goal was to use Jedi Consulors as Shadows to search for a Shatterpoint that might lead to the resurrection of the Sith, and then take any action necessary to prevent that. The Covenant hated the Sith with a passion, which in itself was an aberration of the Jedi Code. They believed that had such an organization existed before the Sith War, they could have recognized the threat posed by Exar Kun when he was still a Jedi."" From this, we have revealed ourselves to the Sith, and will show them our Strength, and defeat them for good..

Star Wars the Old Republic

 

 

Star Wars the Old Republic, has come along way from where it began. They have Released 3 video's, with live footage of the game. Introducing us to some of the worlds, we will be exploring. Also told us some of the concepts they are using. Showing how there concept art, turns mainly right into the ingame Items. Giving us a detailed descriptions on, why things look the way they do, and why they did it that way. They also released there first Official Class, the "Bounty Hunter". Eggerly we all wait for the remaining 7 Classes. What do you think they will be?Also they have released there first Swtor Comic, Act 1:Treaty of Corusant. Releasing 1-3 Comic episodes per month, we expect to see the First Act finished in 3 months. "Remember to View the Comic's at the Guild Website. We are hoping for more info on Swtor in the coming months. What other exciting information, will they release to us?

Guild Infomation

 

We are growing in new great members everyday. Once all the Classes are released, and we are all ingame. I will be choosing Class Leaders, and also Class Co-Leaders. They will handling Decisions, to make sure everyone is being taken care of, for certain Questing and things. Once giving most of the Classe's, I will set the Ranks and start promoting people. These Groups will be known as WatchCircles, as such in The Covenant.

WatchCircles

The Jedi Covenant was composed of several WatchCircles that specialized in different types of visions. The five Masters of the Taris Jedi Tower-Feln, Q-Anilia, Raana Tey, Xamar, and Krynda's son Lucien—were known as the First WatchCircle. The first four were among the greatest Consulars of the Jedi Order, and were apparently the premier prognosticators of the Covenant while Lucien served as its "hand." Another Watchcircle was known as "WatchCircles", though it was felt among some of the masters that they were not as effective.

The Economic Study Circle was a group of seers used by the Covenant to study changes in the Drayy's trust stocks and to protect it from bankruptcy.

Apart from the Seers, the Covenant also had agents known as Shadows; in which all records of their existence had been erased and were known only to a few of the Covenant's members. The Shadows were used to hunt Sith treasures, one of which was the Murr Talisman on Taris. Shadow Celeste Morne was known to have destroyed the last copy of the Epistle of Marka Ragnos, and recovered Jori Daragon's amulet and the Eye of Horak-mu.

Failed Padawan Hazzen was taken under the wing of Krynda and became her Hand; serving to maintain the Draay Trust and to employ contacts and resources to keep the Covenant functioning.

 

Remember Ventrilo will be a must, if everyone can get it. It will be one of the most important things we will be using. Also the website, will be very helpful for everyone to use as well. With the credits you earn on there, I might be making a system to where, you can earn items by turning in credits. Undecided yet, but its something I have considered.
